Benjamin O. Jimerson-Phillips is an African American movie producer, director, songwriter, and screenwriter. He was also known as Benjamin O. Jimerson. He was owner of Jimerson & Associates founded in 1995. He is an established screen writer, and has authored three published books. He is a notable pro-life activist and humanitarian. == Biography == Jimerson-Philips is the son of Jessie Jimerson-Phillips and alleges to be the illegitimate son of J.O. Patterson Sr., the alleged eldest of their two alleged illegitimate children. He attended Sabarbaro Elementary School (now known as Arthur Ash School), in Chicago.〔 Raised by his mother Jessie, he was exposed early on to the Christian church and strong religious values.〔 Her work as an avid Christian missionary, author, songwriter and humanitarian inspired him, eventually leading him to contribute and publish a gospel activity book, written and illustrated by his mother "Agape Coloring Activity Book Of Prayers Puzzle Games ". Kelly. He worked with Missey Elliott, Gwen Stefani, Black Eyed Peas, and Jennifer Lopez, providing talent in many other videos. He appeared briefly in R. He worked on biopic ''Resurrection: The J.R. Richard Story'', starring David Ramsey, Kenya Moore, Sara Stokes and Charles Durning. He was involved in other media projects, including the comedy ''Player’s School'',〔 as well as reality series ''The House of Divas'',〔 and ''Country Girls'', WWI film ''Camp Logan''. He assisted in the development of the stage plays ''Before We Say I Do'' and ''Celebrate Moma'' (with playwright Michael McCurtis). He was commissioned as a "Goodwill Ambassador" by Arkansas Governors Jim Guy Tucker and Mike Huckabee.〔 In early 2000 he ran for City Council in the city of Little Rock, but did not accept donations.〔 In 2005 he was appointed as a "Colonel" on the Staff of New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
